The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course allows divers to extend their no-decompression limits and enjoy longer bottom times where conditions and air supply allow.
Enriched Air Nitrox is a gas mixture of nitrogen and oxygen with a higher oxygen percentage than normal air. During the course you will learn how to plan and conduct dives using Enriched Air Nitrox with up to 40% oxygen.
Prerequisites
• Certified Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Minimum age 12 years
• Medically fit for diving
About the Course:
The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course teaches divers how to safely dive using enriched air mixtures containing higher oxygen levels. Using Nitrox can extend your no-decompression limits, allowing longer dives and shorter surface intervals. During the course you will learn how to analyze oxygen content in tanks, plan Nitrox dives, and understand the benefits and safety procedures associated with enriched air diving.
